    Do you get this error while booting from the install CD?
    if so, at the boot prompt type some random rubbish, then after it
    complains and returns you to the boot prompt, then just press return as
    normal:

        boot: xxx
        Could not find kernel image: xxx
        boot:
        .....

    This is a known bug in FC4 installer.
