Midi does not work



Hello.

Why my midi does not work?

ALSA device list:
#0: VIA 8233 with ALC200,200P at 0xdc00, irq 11
#1: MPU-401 UART at 0x320, irq 10

# aplaymidi -l
Port Client name Port name
72:0 MPU-401 UART MIDI MPU-401 UART MIDI

# aplaymidi -p 72 song.mid
*** nothing is heard

I do not want to use timidity software synth since it hang my machine.
