the system reboots itself.
I can't get out of this loop.
Should I discard the computer, or is there some magic boot parameter
that might work?
Or some alternate solution, since floppys are too small.

I have a similar system and after finally getting it to run FC4, it was
so incredibly slow that I went with another distro (Gentoo) that I could
tweak and pare down to the point that it could run a gui and some other
things like apache.
