I find realplayer unusable on this hardware. Alsa sound works fine, but realplay uses oss. The sound is unusable, because it is so choppy. I
tried kde control-center/sound system, and tried setting a larger buffer,
but no good.
I have quite a few other computers with different sound hardware on which
the exact same test works fine.

Help! No sound out on an iMac G5 ... I have a first generation iMac G5 running 10.4.7. ...
