Dovecot and FC4 -> FC5 upgrade problem

After upgrading FC4 to FC5 I can read mails from my mailboxes locally
with Evolution. However if I try to read mail from other workstation
using MS Outlook-express I can see/load all the headers but the actual
mail does not get loaded. I just see errors in OE (In "Download all
messages from Inbox" phase).

In /var/log/maillog I see a lot of:

Mar 26 02:53:01 xxx dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<user>,
method=PLAIN, rip=remote IP, lip=local IP
Mar 26 02:53:01 xxx dovecot: imap(user): ioctl(inotify_fd, FIONREAD)
failed: Permission denied
Mar 26 02:53:01 xxx dovecot: child 17846 (imap) returned error 89
Mar 26 02:53:01 xxx dovecot: child 17850 (imap) returned error 89

I used the new sample configuration file included with dovecot with few
modifications:

# grep -v '^ *#' /etc/dovecot.conf|grep -v ^$

protocols = imap imaps
mail_extra_groups = mail
default_mail_env = mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/spool/mail/%u

/var/log/messages does not show anything related.
