You're right. But by running the native eclipse (downloaded from
eclipse.org) without any problems, it proved to be very mature in
the current state.

what do you mean "running the native eclipse (downloaded from
eclipse.org)". as in, installing the gzipped tarball rather than
finding an RPM? does that really make a difference in functionality?
