I notice autofs can use smbfs, but how is automount going to get a password

Being one of the former maintainers of smbmount and smbfs for the Samba
team, I would like to say that you should not be using smbfs. It's been
largely deprecated and supplanted by cifs. If it don't work and breaks,
you've got no support.
OK, I'll bite, What is the magic incantation to get the CIFS module to mount
a w2k ntfs partition? I can use CIFS for a w2k3 ntfs partition but I have never
succeeded in mounting a w2k NTFS partition.
