Curious, either it didn't show the plug-in information, like what I
showed you recently, or you didn't copy it in. No big deal, as the
fdisk results show what we need.
He does a 'grep usb' and only shows those lines, not everything
related.
That is all printout on the screen after running the command "dmesg |
grep usb"
You need to show all the lines that are logged when you plug the device.
Use this command as root:
# tail -fn 0 /var/log/messages
and plug the device in. The lines that are added are the ones that count.
