I think you have a connection problem.

Maybe it's a firewall between, or something wrong in your
connection.

Can you ping at download.fedora.redhat.com ?

ping gives me this strange and endless result??

[root@localhost ~]# ping download.fedora.redhat.com

Check your /etc/nsswitch.conf

If the "hosts" line is:

hosts: files nisplus dns

Try changing it to:

hosts: files dns

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i checked /etc/nsswitch.conf hosts:files dns is already there.
