It seems that there is a native linux-driver avaible for
far as I can tell it is rev E1 card. According toMadWiFi's homepage
it is using a RaLink chipset.homepage, but
Which seems to be confirmed by the output from lspci.
Now I have downloaded the tar-file (RT61) from RaLinks
obviously it is source code.
My question is then, is there anything more to be done,
kernel or do Icompiling the driver, do I need to re-configure the
need to recompile it. It is a standard stock FC4 DVD-install.
I guess I need to do a yum update first.
Any recommendations for installing the TAR-file,
which andinstalling the driver would help much.

Now, the driver is compiled, but I'm supposed to edit
/etc/modules.conf
Obviously it has a different name and location in FC, but
should mbewhereIn the readme, it says that the config-file (a text-file)
in bin-format, what is that?
Any ideas anyone??
Done in what I think accordance with all instructions.
This is what happens
I type /sbin/insmod rt61.ko
And hit return.
The leds on the card starts flashing, 2 seconds later the screen goes black
and FEDORA Reboots.
This is what I found in /var/messages:
May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: rt61: module license 'unspecified' taints
kernel.
May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:03:00.0 (0000 ->

May 19 00:13:01 springbox kernel: klogd 1.4.1, log source = /proc/kmsg
started.
Anyone having any ideas what to do?
