Most of the rest of the people using their drivers aren't moaning
about it here, either the rest of the Nvidia users are wrong or you
are...take your pick? ;)
Furthermore, livna had another issue besides having the 2798 kernel
as a dependency when fc6 was first released. I helped several other
people build drivers for 2798 when fc6 first shipped because NONE of
us could get the livna install working.
And furthermore, in this situation, livna would ONLY get my 2798
kernel working AGAIN, not set up a driver for my 2835 kernel !
How would livna setup a driver for the kernel that they haven't built
yet? Your expectations are ridiculous and you really ought not to be
using updates-testing if you want things to "Just Work(TM)." Testing
is for people that want to test. If you use it and you complain here,
you just look like an ass.

I'll bet that your problem wasn't caused by livna, it was caused by
the FC6 anaconda bug that installed an i586 kernel on your system.
This is one of the common bugs for FC6 and has been discussed here
numerous times of the past few weeks.
