So Fedora is in a mindshare battle with Ubuntu, an influential print
publication has things to say that will be of interest to many Fedora
(and probably Ubuntu users).
Battle is quite a strong word. They are rapidly gaining users,
does this mean they are doing something better than Fedora
and if so is it something Fedora can learn from? Do their
larger numbers translate into a stronger community (which
is something that would benefit existing users) or simply
more people posting FAQs to forums?
For example, Ubuntu is all over Digg and Fedora isn't. GNU strippedDigg:
"Japanese-American Magician Stuns Girls with Hand-thru-Aquarium Illusion"
I could care less, but not much.
down Ubuntu, not Fedora, to make their Holy Distro. Why is that when
Ubuntu is largely made up of the same bits and pieces, what can Fedora
do to improve that situation. Sounds interesting to me, if not to you,
just ignore it.
