Hello,
I want to install some packages thru yumex in FC5 and I get a missing
dependency of rtld(GNU_HASH). Does anyone know what is happening or
how to fix it? Thanks
GNU_HASH is a new linker feature in Fedora Core 6 that significantly
improves runtime dynamic linking by using a new .gnu.hash hash. This
requires new (FC6+ only) toolchain, glibc, kernel support, etc. It's
mentioned in the release notes [1]; and Jakub Jelinek's post to the
binutils mailing list [2] explains the gory details if such things peak
your interest.
