That's odd. I don't recall setting it up by hand.

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Nov 13 22:05 /usr/lib/ccache/cc -> /usr/bin/ccache*
(16:56:59:davej@localhost:~)$ which gcc
/usr/lib/ccache/gcc
(16:57:36:davej@localhost:~)$ rpm -q ccache
ccache-2.4-7.fc6
(16:57:45:davej@localhost:~)$
