That's odd. I don't recall setting it up by hand.

(16:56:59:davej@localhost:~)$ which gcc
/usr/lib/ccache/gcc
(16:57:36:davej@localhost:~)$ rpm -q ccache
ccache-2.4-7.fc6
(16:57:45:davej@localhost:~)$

The ccache package install some stuff into /etc/profile.d that will
prepend /usr/lib/ccache to the path. So it'll just work once you log
out and back in or you source the proper script manually.

Gene, if you're using bash try:

. /etc/profile.d/ccache.sh

If you're using something C-shell based, try:

. /etc/profile.d/ccache.csh

After that "which cc" should look like what Dave said.
