I am running FC6 on a few x86_64 machines. The 64-bit java JRE from
Sun does not include a mozilla plugin. What is the recommended 64-bit
plugin for Firefox or should I use the 32-bit plugin with
nspluginwrapper?

For Java plugins, I highly recommend Blackdown JRE
(http://www.blackdown.org). It may not be the fastest Java VM, but, for
me, it is the most stable. The current 64-bit version is still 1.4.x,
but I suspect that most applets are still running that level.
