Greetings;

I recall being able to pick up the icon for a link to an application,
drag it down the the bottom bar and drop it there in previous editions
of kde, but now all I'm getting is a launch of whatever icon I touch
in the process. Surely there is room between the F and the pager for
more than 3 icons?

What am I doing wrong?

As usual, no idea :-) Why not use right-click on panel, Add Application
to Panel ?

That I suppose would have worked, as it would create yet another link to
the app in doing so, but I already had a working icon on the screen. I
did figure it out eventually, about 5-7 minutes ago and now I should know
how to do that again.

I asked you how you'd made FF use kprinter earlier, did I miss your reply
somehow?

Thanks. Hey, we got some snow! Finally.
