Gee, a 0x1b is an escape character, and no, it's not a legal username
character.
How to prevent the problem again ?
1, Disable the auto funciton ( re-exec init ).
2, About the mingetty program.
You sure you didn't hit "F1" or some other escape key sequence on the
TTY involved?
