Linux uses all available ram for that sort of a cache unless it is otherwise
required for something else whereupon it is immediately released and
given to
the process that asked for it.

How do you calculate that 1962316k is being occupied by your active processes?

Incorrectly. 442520K is used by his ("active") processes. 1615316K is
not; of that, 77922K is used for buffers, 1437864K is used for cache, and
99480K is not used.
