Fedora 7 live issue

trying to boot the live cd and getting no where.

on an intel-based i386 machine trying to boot the live cd it stalls with
this:

WARNING: Can not find root file system.

all other live cds work just fine. puppy linux, pclinuxos, ubuntu. no
problem. fedora 7 test 3 kde live - big problem.

any thoughts?
