How do I get rid of these language packs?

yum list available | grep langpack

yum erase <list you choose from above>

Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work... For example, in the listing of
updates (following 'yum update'), I see entries like:

openoffice.org-langpack-pt_PT.i386

But, this is not listed in the output of:
'yum list available | grep langpack'

the output I get looks like:
...
koffice-langpack-pt.noarch 1.6.2-1 extras
koffice-langpack-pt_BR.noarch 1.6.2-1 extras
...
The only open office lang packs listed are:
openoffice.org-langpack-bn_IN.i386 1:2.0.2-5.21.2 updates
openoffice.org-langpack-ga_IE.i386 1:2.0.2-5.21.2 updates
openoffice.org-langpack-sr_CS.i386 1:2.0.2-5.21.2 updates

WTF,O?

Thanks,
Jay

... Where are you seeing these 'language' updates?? ... It's SUSE 9.3 Professional, and the language packs as I pointed out and for some reason you couldn't comprehend are OOo packages that I don't need, there are around 12 or more of hem and no way to tell it NOT to display it. ... The only thing that makes it bearable is that the real updates seem to appear at the beginning of the list, so I was able to resist reading the whole craplist every time, based on the assurance of one of the list members that real updates will always precede the crap. ...
