Of course, that's only good after you've downloaded and installed the
packages. It might be that someone wants to see what's changed prior
to that step so that they don't have to bother downloading and
installing for things that they don't care about. :)
For that, using repoquery --changelog package1 [...packageN] is handy.
You could even get the list of packages to feed the repoquery from yum
check-update.
Or you could subscribe to the announce list like someone else
mentioned. But that's far less fun that toying with bash or another
scripting language. ;)
