Installation options

I have been reading this list and there seems to be a number of options for installing Fedora 7 (boy it is hard not to type FC7). I see the normal boot from DVD and upgrade option with several variants. What I am not seeing and really thought I would is the ability to upgrade via yum. I went from FC5 to FC6 via yum on a number of machines and even though it was not officially supported it still worked wonderfully. Just curious, is this an option with F7?
