I think where you are in the loading you don't need any keys.
I think you're wrong. I think you may be misunderstanding how soon in
the process I see the problem. This is the initial text screen. Where
it says "press [enter] to continue".
Tell me if your mouse works and can you click on the thing in the far left
bottom? It takes a long time to go on but just be patient.
As I understand it, there's no mouse driver loaded at this point.
There's certainly no mouse pointer visible. And I wouldn't expect to
see one.
