This has not been a good set of updates guys ...
?? What happens if you run /sbin/ldconfig manually?
Segfault during ldconfig has nothing to do with kdeaddons,
but can occur with unstable hardware and damaged systems.

... Typical rpm post-install scripts don't run ldconfig ... This has not
