Distribution is officially called Fedora 7. So if there is any mistake
in calling it f7 that lies solely with the users.

You are ducking the question. The question is why you stuck with Fedorae
7 rather than Fedora Core seven, which eliminate the confusion. The
reason that the nature of Core had changed is sort of inadequate.

Anyway, it has been done so we are just going to have to let it rest.
