I regularly move free space between different partition.
Having to do it without lvm is a major pain in the back.
I thought it would simplify changing the sizes of partitions,
but as it happens I never need to do this
with today's enormous disks.
OK. As I said before, it greatly depends on what you do with you
machine.
I wonder if that is the general experience?
