I've been using LVM on one computer for some time,
without any real problems.
However, I've decided that it causes unnecessary complications,
as some applications do not seem to accept the LVM devices,
while I don't find any real advantages to compensate.
What applications, for example?
I think there have been several,
but I didn't make a note of them.
The most recent was gparted (and Partition Manager).
I think I also had problems with one or more of: dd, apache (httpd),
unison, MySQL.
But as I said, I didn't keep notes,
and may be libeling LVM.
