Workaround: Copy install media to external USB drive and install from there.
Once installed, upgrading the kernel to 2.6.22.1-41.fc7 or
2.6.23-0.101.rc2.git5.fc8 (rawhide) recognises the DVD and the (wired)
network also works.
Fedora 7.90 also works.
