Why wxMaxima need internet connect for good start? Why after off connect wxMaxima not notify error and normal solve?
It works here with no Internet connection. I suspect that wxmaxima
uses some port(s) to communicate with maxima and that those ports are
closed when you are disconnected from the Internet. Try to disable
your firewall and try again wxmaxima with no Internet connection on.
