In my experience, not unless you run the 64-bit versions. I have a HP
8510w laptop with 4GB of RAM. F7 doesn't work with it at all because it
apparently doesn't like the disk controller (error that it can't find
the root file system at bootup).
F8T2 and F8T3 both work just fine, but the 32-bit versions will only see
about 3GB. The 64-bit versions see the full 4GB. The same applies, by
the way, to Vista and every other OS I have tried with it.
Of course, your mileage may vary...
