Is there anyway to search the archives by subject line or keywords? I
am looking for info on setting up a Verizon Broadband card on a
laptop running F8. Modems seem to be the bane of my existence lately.
Anyway i do not see a way to search by subject ( i hope i am just
blind because scrolling through the lists would take forever) my first
idea was to download the zipped files and then just search with grep
but that would that takes time and i am no master grepper and of
course i needed this done yesterday. Ideas??

Thanks,

Looks very useful. Thanks for the link.

I got it working. There were several how to's out there but the one i used
had a slightly different approach for the file /etc/ppp/peers/1xevdo_chat
that has to be created. Ultimately i followed these scripts on this page :

I took into account that my card was slightly different than the one used
for the initial steps but the rest worked quite well. Now i just have to
make sure this is all automated because the end user will be leaving town
and i don't want any middle of the night phone calls. Thanks again for the
suggestions and links.
