Fedora-9 + KDE minor issue #5

a) Some settings are remembered when I logout, while others are not.
For example, I have Konsole desktops at Desktops 1 and 2,
but while the one at Desktop 2 comes up when I re-boot,
the one at Desktop 1 does not.
Is there somewhere I can explicitly ask for settings like this
to be saved?
IIRC, there was a Konsole=>Settings=>Save in Fedora-8,
but this seems to have disappeared in Fedora-9.
b) Are there any settings in Fedora-9
so that a nominated user automatically logs in,
as there was in Fedora-8?
[Incidentally, has the Control Center disappeared in Fedora-9, or is
F=>Applications=>Settings=>System Settings
a replacement for it?]
