Yes it is. I don't know whether other things will be added to it,
though.
While I like the Windows-like layout,
the individual settings, eg Desktop, seem much feebler than before.
Actually, I find a lot of the settings in KDE-4 very strange.
It is as though a completely new set of people developed KDE-4
without ever looking at KDE-3.
Many of the options that used to be offered
seem to have disappeared, for no apparent reason.
For your settings, have you looked at the various files
in .kde/share/config/ ?
Thanks for the suggestion,
but I didn't find anything relevant to my (minor) problem,
that while some choices, eg Konsole in Desktop 2, persist through re-boots,
others, eg Konsole in Desktop 1, do not.
It's hard to work out whether it's our ineptitude with the new system or just
that the thing we are looking for hasn't arrived yet :-)
