preupgrade ends in error after reboot

Hi,
I tried using the new preupgrade on my Dell Latitude C840 and came back with the following after reboot (no graphical UI for starters):
Error
An error occurred reading the install from the ISO images. Please check your ISO images and try again.
Any suggestions?
