But I assume that on my other machines
the status of the files in /etc/yum.repos.d/
was somehow modified.

when did this happen
and how was it missed on this machine?

Most likely you has Rawhide enabled and used "yum update" to go from F9
to F10. This would normally disable Rawhide, so either it didn't or you
re-enabled it unintentionally.
