Did you try :
yum remove sysinfo*
and then :
yum update
You got it, I think. The first command took only that one thing.
Then yum update ran -- and, oddly, when I then told it "yum
install sysinfo," it found no such package. I made that "sysinfo*" and it
seems to be looking harder and further afield ...
