kernels, but there is one in updates-testing.

Hmm. If you didn't file a bug before, now would be a good time.

Some similar like this happen when I used Preupgrade to update a i386 box from fc10 to fc11, After the upgrade finished I had all FC11 packages installed and a FC10 kernel, and the box did crash after reboot.
