Wonder why the opensuse version works for me...and F12 doesn't....
Don't know/think it was meant to work with F12, out of the box. But it
does on F13 though. Compiz anyway, dunno bout 3d.
I think the breakage occurs in the xorg server. I'm now tempted to try
F11 since it has an older version, even in the updates, and it has KDE
4.4. There are things that are nice about opensuse....but I'm more used
to the RH way. And besides, opensuse may upgrade their xorg server at
some point and I'd still have the problem....
Decisions, decisions.... It is a good thing installing systems doesn't
take "forever".... :-)
