Evolution: Address completion very slow

Hello,
I have a LDAP server with a huge number of adresses. When composing an
e-mail from Evolution, the adress auto-completion pop-up window takes
about 10 seconds to appear. From Thunderbird, this is instantaneous.
Is there a way to speed it up ?
