Mounted partitions appear on my desktop

Hello,

I've just bought a new hard drive, created two partitions on it, and
mounted them as root via sudo. It suddenly appeared on my "normal"
user's desktop. I said, nevermind, they will disappear after reboot. But
they didn't. How can I make them disappear?
The fstab entries for them:

/dev/hdb1 /home/store ext3 defaults 0 2
/dev/hdb5 /home/store2 ext3 defaults 0 2
