It means from that command line.
But when I open a gnome terminal, and then run from it
gnome-terminal --tab, I see that a new window is opened.
It is meant to be used like this:
gnome-terminal --window --tab --window --tab --tab
Opens 2 windows. One with 2 tabs, another with 3 tabs.
Can I open a new tab *** from the command line*** in the same window
from gnome-terminal window, as is done by : File->Open Tab->Default ?
No.
