Under email preferences in bugzilla.gnome.org I cannot see such an option.
I've filed a request some days ago as this seems to bite many people.

This is your chance to make yourself heard :)
However Olav altered the handling of bug-buddy submissions for all cases
where there already is a duplicate filed. We should get much less
duplicate spam for those reports with large numbers of duplicates.
