I am connecting to a Red Hat server using X-Win32. Sometimes when I run
gnome-terminal I have a latency problem. I type a command like 'ls' and
there is a pause before it actually lists the files. If I run xterm at
the same time the response to 'ls' is instantaneous.
I've got the same problem... but it happens with me when i maximize
the gnome-terminal window!
I need to resize the gnome-terminal window to smaller size to get it
working faster.
I would like to mention that i've set the number of scrollable lines
to 5000... can that be an issue?
Hi all,
My laptop has an ATI card (ATI Technologies Inc M22 [Radeon Mobility
M300]) & after installing ati drivers from ati.com, this problem was
solved.
Thanks,
