I thought this was in the release notes (not sure).
Type: CTRL-SHIFT-U, then the UTF-8 characters.
This was changed to avoid stealing so many keys (16) from an
application.
Yeesh. I wish people would tell the HIG maintainers when they make
changes like that :) (Or even ask them first...)
