Hello,I dont believe that this is possible with metacity without hacking
I'm not sure I'm posting to the right list, but it worths a try.
Is it possible to change the window menu in gnome? I want such a
behaviour like in Windows, e.g in PuTTY, where the window menu (which
contains minimize, maximize and such) is extended with many more commands.
metacity source .
On Windows, an application manages it own window.
I believe sawfish allowed this through lisp hacks with much more easy
than metacity .
