I admit I shot from the lip a bit, before looking in repos. In my own
defence, I think last time (FC6) it was included with the core. And
There is no more a core and extra . Just plain Fedora.
Was system upgraded from FC6 , or a clean install ?

there was some talk of replacing it with gksudo.
with ConsoleKit.
