Nautilus script specifics or tutorial

Hi gnomers,

can you suggests a good tutorial on nautilus scripts?

I can't get them working, I always get the following error message:

File FILE: ERROR: cannot open `FILE' (No such file or directory)

I also heard that tey are deprecated in favour of nautilus actions,
can someone comment on this (and eventually porivde a
tutorial/specifics link)?
