unless Ubuntu has patched out that feature for some reason.
Doesn't Ubuntu use Compiz by default? Focus stealing stuff was not in
compiz last time I heard.
Not using Compiz (unsupported ATI card), but Ubuntu dropped
focus-stealing-prevention a couple versions ago. This guy describes my
situation fairly accurately:
