You are missing any detail, like the application you are using, maybe an
example of the file, and what exactly you did that doesn't work as
expected.
We can't tell you anything given this little information. If you want us
to help you, please be *way* more verbose and provide the information
asked for.
The only thing I can tell you for sure is, that CSV files indeed do work
like a table or spread ***, if (a) the application actually knows how
to handle CSV format, (b) the file actually is a valid CSV file and
(c) optional parameters like the delimiter has been set correctly on
loading or importing the CSV file.
